My last contract in DAR officially ended last December 31, 2013 which makes me officially unemployed BUT before the year ended they offered us a position in the sam Bureau. We have submitted everything they have asked from us BUT we haven't heard from them the whole break.
The thing about trying to apply for another job is that I don't want to be sort in the middle of two things. Call me lazy or someone without back up or whatever but I think I should wait for the results of the DAR application before applying for a new one. The reason behind this is that I don't want to decline (as if i got in already) a job offer in the case that DAR really gives me a new position. What if when the time comes and I want to work for the company and I'll be recognized as someone who just applied and declined? That would be awful.
And so today, January 6, 2014, a Monday, I was supposed to go back to the offcie to submit my Accomplishment Report for the second half of December but our boss is not there so yes, I'm in Makati and currently confused if employed or unemployed.
