For the first Saturday of #gastosSaturdays with Aila we went to Bellini's! It's located at Cubao Expo, Quezon City. It's the restaurant where the Popoy and Basha's friends get together and catch up. It's legit Italian Restaurant and Mr. Bellini even greeted us and asked us how was the food.
The food is actually good but a bit pricey. But some are fair like their cakes which are around 250 per slice but the serving is ginormous! Well, not that ginormous but can served for two people. But one of their cakes is really racist, it's called Obama Cake. Seriously? Just because it's a dark chocolate with some caramel doesn't mean that we should call it the Obama cake. C'mon! Good thing is that it was really good. I actually want to try their other cakes and I think some of them have more decent names compared to the Obama cake.
We ordered this Quatrotizza, if I'm not mistaken, which is a pizza with four flavors. It was actually really good except for the all-veggies part because I don't like veggies with more veggies and some more veggies. Anyway, our dining experience was good but I think I was paying more for the place. Their ambiance is really quaint and gives the feeling of the whole cozy intimate date. Or is it just the aircon blasting? Nevermind. Or maybe it's just the complimentary house sweet wine? Real smooth Alex, real smooth.
Looking forward to more #gastosSaturdays with Aila or actually anyone who's game to try or eat something and somewhere new. :) And there's no better way to end this post but to post Popoy's famous line that was said in this very restaurant: "Malaki lang ang katawan mo pero di mo ako kayang patumbahin!" Enough said.
